We’re not quite ready for prime time, but very soon we’ll tell the story of our sail around all of the National Park Channel Islands (well, except Santa Barbara).
It was our first time around Santa Rosa and into Cuyler’s on San Miguel. Next time, we’ll make time to go ashore to see the Pinnipeds (seals and sea lions) up a little closer. There were thousands AND thousands of them stacked up on the beaches of San Miguel.
Four species of the critters breed on San Miguel and two others just come to visit. As do sharks and Orcas – the reason I didn’t swim even though the weather invited us.
We’ll get the stories from the folks who went with us as well as posting our additions to the Channel Islands Cruising Guide.
