Dave and Kelly got underway – let’s see, – on their 50th proposed departure date. Headed for warmer waters, they figure they’ll be sailing for a couple of years.
A COUPLE OF YEARS????!!!!!

So Sail Channel Islands Ventura Dockmaster, 1st Mate and most of the team have gone. We’re accepting applications aboard Wiley. There’s a beer in it for you if you catch us, particularly when backing into the slip in crosswind.
Life on B dock – all of Ventura – won’t be the same without Dave and Kelly.
Twas six years ago when I brought Wiley into her slip. A dark, dark night in July. Our last night of 7 aboard as we cruised from San Francisco to our new home.
There was a party on Dave’s boat.
It went on and on … until yesterday.
Godspeed, shipmates
Capt. Dan
