Tips from a Southern California sailor
Larry & Karla Pruitt belong to Sailtime where they enjoy skippering a Hunter 36 named Bodacious.
In order to ensure that they turn the boat over in good shape, they’ve developed the following mantra, which they use to brief new crewmembers:
4H Rules aboard Bodacious (with apologies to Future Farmers)
1. Hatches – Don’t step on them (they’re bulletproof, but scratch rather easily)
2. Head – Nothing in it if it doesn’t go through you
3. Hold On – A (firm) hand for the boat and one for the job
4. Hurl downwind
Words to sail by!

Dan you are toooooo funny!!! #4 – Could you say that it has ‘lateral significance’? I don’t especially care to see the day board for that one.
