Birthday aboard sailing yacht Sancerre in Southern California

We celebrated Shawn’s 31st on a sunset cruise aboard Sancerre yesterday.

Had great wind, kinda snotty seas but great fun all the way. Wife Jen was a super good sport. A midwesterner, she finds the Pacific a bit daunting. Even though white-knuckled she put that aside to enjoy Shawn’s obvious pleasure.

Jesse Dowler was a good sport and turned up after a very late call to be crew. His wife also played a part, telling him to take advantage of the opportunity even if it was her birthday, too.

Thanks to all the wives who made Shawn’s day at sea a birthday to remember.
