Man Overboard

According to US Sailing, you can increase your chances of  of being picked up if you fall overboard  by a factor of 12 to 15 times. HOW: wear a PFD

They do not specify why that is, but one factor, particularly with our huge inflating Mustangs and Sospenders is visibility.

They’re big, they’re yellow, while Most of us wear dark colors and, without a PFD, float awfully low in the water.
