Daniel Schorr, NPR’s Weekend Edition news interpreter, dropped the best line of the week as a throw-away this morning.
After reporting that the Vice President would undergo heart surgery today, Schorr said, (I can’t quote directly as I wasn’t taking notes at that hour) …. while incapacitated, the Vice President would temporarily hand over his powers to the President.
It was on radio, but the screen went dark.
