Firestorm/Santa Ana …. “REPENT”

Unless you got underway well before dawn, you’re hunkered down like I am.firestorm
I said like I am (rather than as), because I doubt your significant other would approve of sipping Syrah at this juncture. But, hell, if you can’t sail, you might as well. And mine is out of town.

It’s ugly out there. Not only is it blowing (occasionally) near 40 knots, it’s sooting. That’s what those white – snow-appearing – spots are in the photo.

It’s pretty miserable here, but – counting our blessings – we’re not on fire.

If there was any brush around the boat, I’d be out there clearing it. But there is none, so Syrah it is.

Chris has secured all of the boats of interest and started his last phone call with “REPENT.”
