The boats were decorated but there was big wind and sporadic big rain. So we mostly stayed below, warmed by friendship and brandy in our eggnog.

  2. You know, ever since I started wearing this head gear, I’ve attracted a lot of attention. Particularly at night. Particularly from pretty girls and, of course, from the mental health authorities. They’ve given me a very nice sport coat. The sleeves are unusually long, but otherwise it’s quite stylish. I’m typing this with a pencil in my teeth as the sleeves seem to be intertwined behind me.
