Capt. Dan starts annual navigation class in Ventura

The Sail Channel Islands Sailing School begins ASA 104 this morning. Students will learn chart interpretation, DR, nav planning, and use of GPS.
If you’re interested in joining us, we’ll have a makeup next week and we’ll get you up to speed.
The class runs Saturdays until we’re done …. about 5 days. Extra instruction, coaching etc. are available if you struggle with math. And, BTW, the hardest math is long division and we use calculators.
